Quite a few new additions to the playlist this year. As always there are some new songs and songs I’ve newly discovered, along with some old favorites. Here are a few highlights:
Florence and the Machine‘s new album Everybody Scream will release on October 31st, 2025.
We already have the title track and it’s a banger. I think this will be a halloween staple for many years to come.
Em Beihold has a new novelty track, “Hot Goblin”. I think we all feel like a hot goblin sometimes.
Ha Vay is an artist that shows up a lot in my recommendations. I really her new song “Spellbound”, which is a little spooky. And not a cover of Siouxsie, also on this list.
Any song by 13 Candles would be at home on this Halloween playlist, but “Death Lab” adds that “mad scientist” vibe that we’ve been missing since Spotify doesn’t have “Nemesis” by Shriekback.
